Potsdam Carnival 2005

The girls rode with my parents Ray and Dorene (aka...Nanny and Papa). :-) We are very lucky to have both sides of our family in one town.

Nanny stays to take pictures of Alex and Adam on the next ride, the ferris wheel. While Papa and I took Sam over to the spinning ferris wheel. :-)
We were trying to keep the rides mild because we just finished Ponderosa...we weren't really thinking...or we would have eaten after the rides...not before. :-D


So, we started moving on to faster rides...and I joined the girls on the tempest...and this was my last ride, I was sick the rest of the night. :-) I'm getting old!



As the night progressed...it got cold. Papa and Alex snuggled to keep warm.

I gave Alex my fleece shirt to stay warm...and Papa gave me his jacket. :-) Adam offered his shirt...but that would have left him in a t-shirt and shorts :-O so, I took the jacket. :-)

Sam is on the Scat. The ride that both girls liked the most.

While standing and waiting for them to ride the skat, we were pleasantly surprised with fireworks! They were just fantastic. We stood and watched them while the girls rode the Scat again and again. :-)




The girls were watching them too, while waiting to get back on the ride.

This is the swirling ferris wheel that Sam and I rode earlier in the night. Sam decided she had to go back on it and make it go all the way around. Alex decided she would help Sam! :-)







And sure enough they did! Over and over again. They were very proud of themselves! :-D






We had a wonderful night! It was great fun and great memories with Nanny and Papa. :-D
