Sunday Morning Drama Performance
Yesterday, at NTC, the drama group performed to a song, to encourage people in our church to contribute shoe box gifts to children who are less fortunate. Sam, Alex and I were part of this performance. Adam took pics while we did a run through Sunday morning at 9:30. This was soooooooooooooo much fun!
This is Dorie Reiter, Sam in front, me and Dorie's son in front of me. :D
Here is our little Alex. Sam and I were part of Africa and Alex was from India. (These were all decided upon, based on costume availability.;))
Half way through the performance, we all come down and start to clap like a choir before we exit.
Here is Spencer. He is dressed and ready while all of us are busy applying make-up and doing hair!
Sam and I were already in costume and Alex was waiting for the gentlemen from India to come and wrap her scarf around her. :)
Group shot! We were from China, Africa, India and Mexico.
Entering the sanctuary to start the performance. That's little Alex in the front middle. :)
During the performance, pictures of children receiving gifts were shown.
When it was all over, Adam took one more pic of us! It was wonderful fun and great to be a part of! Can't wait for the next drama performance at Christmas time. :D

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa! :)
That's so great that the people in Massena get to see the nationalities that I see everyday in downtown Portland. :)
Seriously, though - you gals are beautiful. - JC
LOL JC!:D
It was great fun...and the people we met in our church who donated these family treasures (our costumes) were extremely generous. (We were so careful to return them as we got them.) I was amazed to find all of these nationalities right here in our little church. And to be getting more involved...having all these new friends and feeling apart of God's plan for this area...amazing! There will be many more of these type of posts to share...this is just the beginning! :D
Thank you. :)
