Samantha & Poetry
Every year there is a Poetry Speak Out at our girl's school. Every grade, every class has the opportunity to recite a poem in their classroom. A winner is chosen in each classroom. So, there are 3 kindergarten winners, 3 first grade winners, 3 second grade...and so on up to 6th. These children have a Poetry Speak Out in front of the whole school and one winner is chosen to represent their grade. Sam was chosen to represent the fifth and sixth graders of her school at the Poetry Speak Out where she said her poem along with the winners from the other elementary schools in our town. She won!!!:D We are so proud of her! Here she is with her teacher, Darcie Fregoe! Thank you again, Darcie, for coming out to support Sam. She loved having you there.
Sam is posing with all the other school winners before this speak out began. Their picture will be in our local paper.
